The TWO CENTS STRING BAND

A new band, just getting together, that's Jim Thaxter on banjo, Vic Phelps on fiddle, sometimes Marcie McGuire on piano, Pippa on fiddle. We all like to play that goodoll fiddl'an'banjer music, looking to play for the local contra dances, maybe the Columbia Twilight Fest, Thursday evenings in June and September.

On the first and third Thursdays of the month we're at the Cherry Street Artisan. Check the calendar for more info. And... we're on YouTube "Turkey in the Straw" ain't never sounded better! We've got a bass player now, Steve Clark lays down that regular downbeat on a regular basis! Support your local old-time music, YAY!
